In a ceremony today Bill Borucki, the Principle Investigator for the Kepler Mission, became the 12th NASA Ames Fellow for his long and successful career at Ames, including leading the Kepler Mission from it’s earliest concepts in the 70’s to the launch in 2009. Bill gave a speech about his 50+ years at Ames and presented an impressive timeline that showed the persistence needed to get Kepler approved by NASA and launched.
